The Infant Food Bank is an amazing resource available to our clients twice monthly as a relief program when times get tough. We have baby food, diapers, formula, wipes and much more. What we have in stock depends on donations on a weekly basis as well as support from the Sudbury Food Bank. We are happy to assist as many families as we are able to provide for.
This year, in lieu of sending gifts or cards to your customers, please consider making a donation to the Infant Food Bank.
In return, we’ll send you a custom E-message with your company name/logo that you can email clients, which lets them know about your generosity and their involvement in your contribution.
Your customers will be grateful to learn that they are helping to give to the infants in our community who need help over the yuletide season.
The Infant Food Bank is running a campaign entitled, ‘All I Need for Christmas…’ to help raise funds and supplies for Greater Sudbury’s most vulnerable; babies and young children. Monetary donations greatly assists them with the majority of food bank purchases. Items needed on a monthly basis include baby food, formula, BPA-free bottles, diapers, wipes and clothing.
Why help? In Greater Sudbury, there are babies and youth living in poverty. These small children within our community do not have the necessities they need to live a healthy and fulfilling life and cannot help themselves. Collectivel, we can help make a difference in the lives of those who really need our support.
The Infant Food Bank exists solely through financial and supply donations; not government funding. The Sudbury Food Bank provides the IFB with food cards twice yearly, which accounts for about 30% of food donations. However, with rising needs of the community and additional families registering with the organization, this percentage is dropping every year.
